Advantage Communications needed to find a better way to communicate with their 200 employees.

 Prior to implementing BamText Shift Alerts, Advantage was moving staff off their daily tasks to call coworkers to fill vacant shifts. With an average of 2-3 minutes per call and 4 vacant shifts a week, this was a growing concern that needed  to be address.

“The biggest thing we were looking for was a way to mass communicate with our staff. If we had an issue needing immediate action, we needed a way to get our message out quickly. We have situations where we need to talk to 50-60 staff, so we would take 1-2 staff to call  all those people, one at a time. The end result was, these staff were not completing their daily tasks.”  says Work Force Manager, Cory Callbeck.

​With BamTextShift Alerts, there is nothing to download, you simply access your online dashboard through BamText's website at www.bamtext.com. The online dashboard is where your staff contacts are held and where you can send out text blasts.

​Advantage Communication is an inbound call center that receives calls from clients all around the world. It is extremely important for them to have their staff available to answer calls.

“A specific result we have seen from implementing BamTextShift Alerts is how much time it saves us. It has so much impact on our queues, the call times are quicker which has a direct impact on improving our customer service,” says Callback

​Not only does BamText Shift Alerts make it easier for the staff that are working, it is their preferred way they would like to communicate on their days off.

“Staff talk about how they like to receive the (text) notification. We have a lot of younger staff and they always have their cell phones and they prefer to communicate via text," states Callbeck.

​Not only does Advantage use BamText Shift Alerts to fill vacant shifts, they also use it to notify staff of snow days, which is something we can definitely relate to on, living on the East Coast of Canada. BamText Shift Alerts is a great way for any company to communicate with their staff more efficiently. ​"The possibility of rolling BamText Shift Alerts out to Jamaica is definitely something we would love to do, with over 500 staff in Jamaica and it would be a great fit,” Says Callbeck.
